BA (Hons) Broadcasting

My three-year degree in Broadcasting at University College Falmouth in Cornwall was an opportunity for me to research and explore theoretical concepts and cultural/ societal discussions surrounding broadcasting as a whole. The experience of completing my degree enabled me to develop a deeper insight to the world around me. Since graduating, I have continued my studies by attending various conferences and seminars on the exciting current issues concerning the broadcast and communications industry. These include...

• The future of public service broadcasting;
• The digital switchover transition ;
• The digital dividend; and
• The next evolution of mobile communications.

I intend to carry on my interest in broadcasting beyond my degree and use it to assist in the shaping of our society and culture - ensuring fair and equal access to information, realities and experiences.

I graduated with a first class degree with honours on Thursday 12th July 2008.
